Indeed, these cells are highly sensitive to improper dissociation procedures. The PromoCell Macrophage Detachment Solution is chemically defined and non-enzymatic. It was especially designed for the gentle release of adherent macrophages and guarantees the best possible cell viability, even after prolonged exposure times. Unlike enzyme-based solutions, the PromoCell Macrophage Detachment Solution does not alter cell surface proteins and neutralization is not necessary.

Collecting and re-plating rosette clusters after incubation with STEMdiff™ Neural Rosette Selection Reagent will yield highly pure populations of neural progenitor cells, which can be further sub-cultured as single cells.

This perfect blend of trypsin (0.25%) and EDTA (0.53mM) is combined in calcium-free and magnesium-free Hanks Balanced Salt Solution along with phenol red. Trypsin-EDTA is made from trypsin powder, an irradiated mixture of proteases derived from porcine pancreas. Due to its digestive strength, trypsin is widely used for cell dissociation, routine cell culture passaging, and primary tissue dissociation.
